The Attleboro White Hawks Youth Football League was established in January, 2015 as a combined effort of the South Attleboro White Hawks (established in November 1953) and the Attleboro Pop Warner (established 1974) and competes as part of the Hockomock League. With a promise that every child plays in a safe, educational environment, AWH is the premier youth football and cheer organization in Attleboro. The goal of the White Hawks is to create well rounded members of the community by allowing the athletes to learn, play and enjoy the sport in a safe environment, while also stressing the importance of high moral standards, academic achievement and community involvement. AWH is not only helping to create the athletes of tomorrow, but also the community leaders of tomorrow. Any child between the age of 5 and 14 is welcome – whether a first time or experienced athlete. Our dedicated coaching staff works tirelessly to make sure every child’s experience is a positive one. Parental volunteers and support are important facets of the AWH success and we welcome any help or suggestions. We are excited to have you as a member of the AWH family.

Everyone, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with Pop Warner's and the Attleboro City Recreation Department's Code of Conduct policy regarding smoking during practices, games and all league events.

Pop Warner’s Adult Code of Conduct S2:
“Any adult who is using alcohol, tobacco or non-prescription drugs and/or appears intoxicated at a Pop Warner event, and/or who is flagrantly rude, attempts to intimidate, verbally abuse, heckles, taunts, ridicules, boos, throws objects and/or uses vulgarity or profane language/gestures with an official, coach, volunteer, staff member, participant or other event attendee, must receive a verbal warning and/or be asked to leave a Pop Warner event. The member organization may also provide a written warning to the individual regarding the misbehavior.”

City of Attleboro Recreation Department’s Code of Conduct Policy #4: “...inappropriate behavior defined as including but not limited to: the possession, use or consumption of alcoholic beverages or illegal substances, including marijuana. The use of smoking products including cigarettes and chew”

This policy can also be found within the Player Contract that each participant and parent/guardian has signed.

Simply put, the use of smoking products, including cigarettes, marijuana, chew and e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited in parks, fields and all recreational facilities.

Please refer to the maps for Lee’s Pond and Hayward/Walsh fields where smoking is prohibited anywhere inside of the green border, including field parking lots.

We appreciate your adherence to the Code of Conduct Policies as we all work together to provide a healthy atmosphere for all children and families. ... See MoreSee Less
